Sometimes in our lives we find ourselves in uncharted waters... places we've never been or never wanted to be. Our God is a creator, transformer, change agent, redeemer, savior... and all of these roles require change. And we are the ones that need to change and change can be difficult sometimes. The Bible says in Hebrews "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" 13:8 NIV. We serve a transformational God that never changes! How awesome is that?! We've all heard moving stories of transformation and perseverance through adversity... caterpillar to butterfly... the refining process of silver... baby birds that struggle out of their nests... and the stories continue. But how is God using change to transform you? Have you ever felt like no one prepared you for the situation you are going through? I once watched an infomercial about a weight loss device... haven't we all? It was a stability ball that offered extreme results because the ever changing platform engaged your entire body for balance and strengthened your core. I watched it and thought... that is how God strengthens our core to depend on him by experiencing slight change in our everyday lives. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5, 6 "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord , the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal." Isaiah 26:3-4 Dear friends... trust that God is using an ever changing situation to transform you into the person he is calling you to be. Be blessed knowing he is not done with you yet!
