Joy FM

WJYW - Joy FM is a 501C3 Ministry.  Joy FM can be heard in western Ohio and eastern Indiana at 88.9 FM and we are located in Union City, Ohio.

Joy FM is a unique radio station designed to introduce and encourage FAITH into our listeners' lives.  We strive to encourage believers in their everyday walk with songs from Christian artists like Michael W. Smith, Third Day, Casting Crowns and many others.

Joy FM believes that FAMILY is important.  We want to be a radio station that is safe for the whole family.  That includes the little ones listening in the back seat and mom and dad who can catch the weather and listen to uplifing music at the same time.

Joy FM believes that having FUN along the way will encourage not only our listeners but will appeal to people who are searching for something positive and uplifting in their lives.

St. Paul's Soup Kitchen

Soup Kitchen Every Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday 11:00 to Noon

The Soup Kitchen started in December of 1999 by members of St. Paul Lutheran Church. St. Paul served the meals every Wednesday.

In 2002, area churches started to join this mission. By 2007, we had enough churches to add a second day (Monday) to serve our guest. As of this year 2010, we have 3 days with the addition of Tuesday.  Their goal is to have enough churches involved to provide meals 5 days a week.

Their Mission:  To provide fellowship and a nutritious meal free of charge to the homeless, jobless, working poor and needy.
