Age 3 - Kindergarten

We partner with families to support and encourage children from birth through sixth grades as they grow to become followers of Jesus through a variety of Sunday morning and midweek classes and activities that are dedicated to excellence and quality. Your child's safety and well-being are our primary concerns at all times. Each of our Kidmunity leaders has been through a screening process and trained to work with the age group to which he or she is assigned.

Mission

The mission of children's ministry is to supplement the family in their quest to build a spiritual foundation by teaching biblical truths in relevant ways, empowering and equipping kids to love God completely and love others radically.  We will attempt to disciple them into fully submitted followers of Christ.

Vision

The vision of children's ministry is to build a community of young Christ followers that fully understand the depth of God's love (Teaching & Worship); that God has a plan and purpose for their lives (Discipling & Mentoring); and they are part of the mission and vision of God's kingdom and EUM Church (Evangelism & Mission).  This is accomplished by developing a ministry that is:

  • Kid Focused & Safe
  • Creative & Relevant Biblical Teachings
  • Intentional Shepherding through small groups
  • Partnering with Parents
  • Provides Opportunities for Service, Outreach and Mission

Kid 2 Kid Outreach

Mission Statement

Kid 2 Kid exists to give the kids of Kidmunity a chance to reach out to other kids in the church, community or around the world.  Kid 2 Kid projects help them see that they can make a real difference in the life of another kid. Regardless of their age, God can use them to be an extension of his love.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believer in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

Guatemala School Supplies Donations
Soup Kitchen Donations

Kidmunity has been active in several opportunities to serve others.  They have served the "Treasures" in the Guatemala City dump by providing much needed school supplies and Christmas gifts, participated in a community outreach Easter Egg Hunt at our new Worship Center, and provided awareness of Give Kids The World by having ice cream for breakfast.  They have also made flags for our Veteran's and made place mats for the Kairos Prison Ministry.  Our latest outreach came in the form of collecting change to donate to the Soup Kitchen.  In 2011, the kids collected over $250.
